OVERVIEW

Donohoe Development is re-envisioning 5151 Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, DC as mixed-use multifamily. Donohoe acquired the 61,300 square foot property in late 2020. It had initially been developed by Donohoe and the Ourisman family and built by Donohoe Construction nearly 60 years ago and is the former home of both FOX5 (WTTG) and Donohoe’s Complete Building Services division.

The new six-story building designed by Torti Gallas Urban will bring 210 residential units with underground parking, long-term bicycle spaces, and 1,700 square feet of neighborhood-serving café and restaurant space at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Harrison Street. 5151 Wisconsin is designed to achieve the LEED Gold designation for green building, with features including high-efficiency building systems, a green roof, rooftop solar, and electric car charging.
