OVERVIEW

Donohoe Development is planning a new multifamily residential project at 4201 Garrison Street NW in Friendship Heights. The project will sit adjacent to Donohoe’s planned 210-unit multifamily development at 5151 Wisconsin Avenue NW, transforming an asphalt lot just off Wisconsin Avenue into a vibrant residential community.

The development will feature four 4-story plus penthouse buildings with three shared courtyards, offering 126 residential units, including over 40 affordable units. The total residential space will encompass 125,000 square feet, with underground parking for 82 vehicles. The design by Torti Gallas Urban pays tribute to the century-old developments by Harry Wardman, encapsulating the timeless charm of historic Washington.

In line with Donohoe’s commitment to sustainability, the project will incorporate solar energy solutions and will seek LEED Silver certification. Construction is expected to start in 2026.
