The Bonifant

The Bonifant at Silver Spring is a 149-unit new construction, 11-story high-rise residential apartment building with 6,300 square feet of ground-level retail, located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, within blocks from Metro, retail, grocery stores, and the new Silver Spring Library.  The project fills a critical need in the community, providing mixed-income housing designed with the senior demographic in mind. The development is an innovative partnership with Montgomery County, Maryland, and a non-profit housing provider.  Donohoe successfully coordinated the project with the evolving engineering of the Purple Line, which will cross the site and put a new transit stop directly adjacent to the building.
