Project Overview
Completed in 2016, Flats 8300 is a 359-unit luxury multifamily building designed and built to have the most exceptional amenities in Bethesda. The design features finishes such as backlit onyx walls and hand crafted steel staircases in a sophisticated color palette. The amenities in the building include a large fitness center, fireside lounges, and a rooftop lounge. The lounge itself has two bars, two fireplaces, grilling areas, TV areas, and two pools – one for swimming laps and one for leisure. Flats 8300 is LEED Gold Certified.
In addition to the amenities in the building, Flats 8300 was also built on top of a 50,000 square foot Harris Teeter core and shell and a parking garage with four levels of below-grade parking for both residents and shoppers. Outside, the U-shaped building opens up into a courtyard that faces the nearby NIH campus, transitioning from the urban living environment of Bethesda to the green space that surrounds the campus.
