Project Overview

The Wharf Parcel 5 Hotels are part Canopy by Hilton and part Hyatt House, completed for the first phase of The District Wharf development project in the fall of 2017. The dual-branded project features 175 keys on the Hilton side and 238 keys on the Hyatt Side, with two distinct facades to differentiate between the brands. Abstract details in both designs pay homage to the sailing schooners and warehouses that once occupied the site before the redevelopment. The Wharf Parcel 5 Hotels are LEED Gold Certified.

Despite the different facades, both the back of house spaces and public areas were built to be used by patrons of either hotel. These amenities include a large elevated courtyard, fitness center, meeting spaces, outdoor pool, and a rooftop bar and restaurant with sweeping views of the Washington Channel. The site also includes over 30,000 square feet of street-level retail and two levels of below grade parking.
