Project Overview
Insignia on M is a 13-story luxury apartment building with 324 units. In addition to amenities such as a lounge and courtyard, pet spa, rooftop pool, and fitness center, the project is also located directly on top of the Navy Yard Metro Station for quick access to public transportation. The project is LEED Silver Certified.
Insignia on M won the WBC Craftsmanship award for the 100% internally braced steel structure support system done for the excavation work of the project. Due to the adjacent location of the WMATA station and escalator, underground parking garage for another multifamily building, and existing sewer line, the Insignia on M team successfully coordinated a complex support of excavation system for this project.
