Project Overview
Square 80 at the George Washington University is a conversion of an existing parking area to a multifaceted landscape project. The project incorporated concrete, brick and stone walkways and ramps, cedar fencing, masonry walls, landscape lighting, and a pergola. Environmentally friendly aspects included green screens for perimeter screening and a system of collection cisterns for irrigation. Square 80 is Sustainable Sites Certified, under the first national rating system for sustainable landscape design.
