American University – McDowell Hall Renovations

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A fast-paced, summer renovation of an 8-story dormitory consisting of new, common core bathrooms and full replacement of the building’s common spaces, including lounges, main entry lobby, classrooms and other gathering spaces. Dorm rooms received all new finish updates. The exterior work consisted of new Tremco roofs and main entrance hardscape improvements.

In addition, the project included new mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and building controls, new plumbing risers, HVAC duct and risers and a new fire alarm system.
