Donohoe Celebrates Giving Back with Successful Turkey Distribution and Food Drive

In the spirit of Thanksgiving and community support, Donohoe recently held its annual turkey distribution event and a highly impactful food drive to support the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB). This year’s event not only continued a cherished tradition within Donohoe but also highlighted the company’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Donohoe successfully distributed 862 turkeys to our valued employees. This gesture of appreciation reflects our gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work of Team Donohoe throughout the year. Donohoe employees donated 40 turkeys to Shepherd’s Table, extending our Thanksgiving spirit to those in need.

Complementing the turkey distribution, Team Donohoe also rallied for the CAFB through a dedicated food drive. We focused on collecting essential, non-perishable food items and prioritizing the ‘most needed’ items for the DC area’s children, seniors, and families. We are proud to report that several hundred pounds of food and more than $400 in donations were collected, bolstering CAFB’s efforts in combating food insecurity in our community.
