Complete Building Services, a leading provider of facilities management and maintenance services based in Washington, D.C., has announced that the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, has awarded it a two-year facilities management contract with eight, one-year options, for a total of a 10-year contract.

“CBS looks forward to continuing to provide quality, cost-effective facilities maintenance services for UMBC,” said Mike Polaski, Vice President of Business Development.

Complete Building Services will provide the staffing, labor, materials, equipment and management and support of the mechanical systems at the UMBC Columbus Center located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The 300,000 square foot facility opened in 1995 and is home to the Institute of Marine & Environmental Technology (IMET), a joint University System of Maryland (USM) research institute capitalizing on the strengths of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB).
