GILLIAM PLACE NAMED 2020 BEST AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Gilliam Place, the 6-story all-affordable multifamily complex, was honored on November 19th at the Virginia Governor’s Housing Conference for Best Affordable Housing Development. This award recognizes a housing development that is innovative in its concept and design and exceptional in meeting the needs of the targeted client population. Located in the heart of Columbia Pike Town Center, Gilliam Place was designed by KGD Architecture and developed by Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) to “create opportunities for 173 low-income households to live in this high-opportunity area,” according to Carmen Romero, APAH’s Vice President of Real Estate Development.
