Donohoe Volunteers’ 2023 Sponsorships: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention & Capital Area Food Bank

Donohoe’s Volunteer Committee has announced its sponsorship of two amazing non-profit organizations over 2023: the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The sponsorships include a year-long calendar of volunteer and educational engagements for employees to get involved and give back in our communities. Donohoe, Borger Residential, and Complete Building Services employee volunteers will provide approximately 400 volunteer hours at AFSP’s Run the Greenway and Out of the Darkness fundraisers, as well as a week-long competition packing food at CAFB.  The company will also host several donation drives including food and toys to support CAFB clients. Donohoe Volunteers will additionally continue to participate in the JDRF Real Estate Games commercial real estate industry-wide fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes research in June.

We aim to have our most impactful year yet fighting hunger, raising awareness for mental health, and finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Volunteering is a core part of our culture at Donohoe, and we know that together we can make a real difference.
