Construction began at Donohoe Construction’s mixed-use development in Alexandria, Robinson Landing, on Monday, July 9. The project includes 70 condominium units across three buildings over a shared parking garage and retail space.

Future residents will have access to world class amenities, including a fitness center, yoga studio, residents’ lounge, and pet spa. The scope also includes site improvements to roads, a public promenade, and a publically accessible floating dock.

Developed by EYA and designed by Shalom Baranes Associates, the project was delayed due to the discovery of a three, 250-year-old ships and thousands of additional artifacts buried on the site, leading to an extensive archaeological excavation to preserve the historical remains. All discoveries were donated to the City of Alexandria.

The project is scheduled to reach substantial completion in summer 2020.
