Brightview Bethesda Tops Out

Donohoe Construction’s senior living project, Brightview Bethesda, celebrated its topping out with a luncheon and site tours on Wednesday, August 22. Developed by The Shelter Group, the eight-story building is located in downtown Bethesda, across the street from residential towers Gallery I and Gallery II, both developed and constructed by Donohoe.

Architect Hord Coplan Mach’s design includes 113 total units of housing divided between independent living space, assisted living space, and memory care. The project includes a rooftop deck with views of DC as well as an outdoor courtyard for residents in memory care to enjoy. Additional building features include two levels of below-grade parking, multiple dining rooms, and activity spaces.

The project broke ground in November of last year and is expected to reach completion in spring of 2019.
