Donohoe Construction project, Brandywine Living at Alexandria, has achieved LEED Silver for its environmental sustainability. This achievement was reached from extensive use of regional materials and aggressive recycling and reuse practices. Energy-efficient fixtures are also used throughout the building.

The 6-story, 163,546 square foot senior living community, designed by architect Niles Bolton and Associates, consists of 116 suites situated above ground-floor retail and 2 levels of below-grade parking. The complex includes interior and exterior courtyards, a therapy pool and gym, beauty salon, movie theater, pub, outdoor patios, private dining rooms, and many other building amenities designed to enhance the quality of the resident experience.
