Marriott AC Hotel/Residence Inn Reston Celebrates Topping Out

The project team working on the Marriott AC Hotel/Residence Inn at Reston Town Center recently celebrated their “topping out” milestone, after the building reached its highest constructed point of 16 stories.

The 267-key dual-brand hotel in Reston, VA is being constructed over top of an existing 5-level below ground shared parking structure in the Reston Town Center, and includes 34,000sf of retail space, and 11,000sf of meeting space including a ballroom. Guest amenities will include a spa-style indoor pool, fitness facility, a full-service restaurant, and a rooftop bar and lounge.

Donohoe Development, Donohoe Construction and Donohoe Hospitality are working with Complete Building Services and Reston Town Center master developer, BXP, to bring this project to life. The project is expected to reach completion by late 2024, upon which Donohoe Hospitality will operate the hotels, and Complete Building Services will provide facilities management services.
