Donohoe Commercial Real Estate’s Project Management Division recently completed a successful interior and exterior renovation project at Columbia Medical Center.

Located at 11055 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, Maryland, the medical office building was constructed in 1985 and measures approximately 50,000 SF. Renovations to the building’s exterior included: repainting the entire structure; installing backlit signage to the front façade; adding upgraded benches and trash receptacles; and placing new window films. The interior portion of the project focused on upgrading the public corridors and restrooms. The scope of work in the public corridors included: installing new LED lights; retiling the floors, ceiling, and stairs; repainting the walls, doors, trims, and railings; adding wooden wall paneling to the atrium structure; and installing glass film on all storefronts. The common area also received new artwork, furniture, floormats, and interior signage. The restrooms were upgraded with porcelain tiled floors and subway tiled walls, solid surface counter tops, a new changing table, ADA compliant toilets with stainless steel partitions, and new sinks and faucets. DBI Architects served as the architect on the project.
