DCRE Expands Property Management Business with Acquisition of Deoudes-Magafan Realty

Donohoe Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the expansion of its Property Management business with the acquisition of Deoudes-Magafan Realty Inc.

The Deoudes-Magafan management portfolio consists of 34 properties, including shopping centers, stand-alone retail, and restaurant buildings that serve more than 130 tenants across Greater Washington and Pennsylvania. Deoudes-Magafan owns about a dozen of those 34 properties, which will transfer in the deal.

Established in 1984, Deoudes-Magafan is a family-owned company with roots in the local area. The deal originated when Deoudes-Magafan’s leaders read about Donohoe’s 2023 acquisition of Borger Management, Inc. Principals Nicholas Deoudes and Angelo Magafan will consult with Donohoe to ensure a smooth and successful transition and the remaining staff will join Donohoe at its 7101 Wisconsin headquarters.

Donohoe Commercial Real Estate is one of the region’s largest property management firms, with a portfolio consisting of over 250 buildings and 16 million SF combined. President David Happ plans to continue expanding Donohoe’s property management business and is looking to acquire other companies in a similar retail management sphere.
