Project Overview

This 14,543 SF project involved renovations on the 11th and 12th floors of the Ortiz Mena and Cecilio Morales Boardrooms and Lobbies. Although the conference rooms were not occupied during construction, all the surrounding areas were occupied. Some unique aspects of the project included installation of audio visual equipment in a custom conference table and millwork. The Donohoe team also built a custom pedestal with A-V interfacing, added and modified racks in the control room, and furnished and installed a programmable electronic skylight to simulate the sun crossing over the ceiling. A unique A-V feature of this project included the installation of a language speech interpretation system that allowed people to speak in their native lingual and hear it come out in the chosen language on the other end.
