Project Overview
The work on 900 F St NW consisted of a historic renovation and conversion of the former Riggs Bank to a Courtyard Marriott hotel, including 10 stories of restored brick and granite façade. Other features of the hotel include new roof, new MEP systems, automatic entrance doors, new entrance canopy, indoor pool, and attached restaurant. Scope of work also included adding a mezzanine level that housed administrative offices and a mechanical room, plus keeping the bank vault and converting it into a meeting room. The work on 900 F St NW was approved by the Department of Interior’s standards for historic preservation.
