Director of Quality Control

With over 27 years of experience in the Construction Industry, Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience he brings to Donohoe’s construction projects. His field background in quality control and consulting roles, which include forensic investigations and testing experience provide informed decisions on detailing of various building system interfaces.

As Director of Quality Control, he oversees the QC program and team which focuses on the building enclosure systems and interior waterproofing or vapor barrier systems with the purpose of ensuring work meets the contract requirements and that Donohoe delivers our clients’ buildings with the highest level of craftmanship, performance, and long-term durability.

Chris has developed the Donohoe Quality Control program to be proactive with identifying conflicts and critical coordination items before installation to reduce systematic issues and corrective work during construction and minimize schedule and cost impacts.

The quality control process starts during the pre-construction phase with design reviews, continuing through the construction phase with submittal reviews, pre-construction meetings, coordination meetings and site observations, and assisting in addressing post construction warranty issues.

Chris believes quality control goals are achieved with a team approach with all project team members including the owner representatives, architects, subcontractors, consultants, and product manufacturer representatives.
