The Donohoe Companies joined the DC Metro area’s top employers in a virtual awards ceremony honoring greater Washington’s “Best Places to Work” of 2020.  The Washington Business Journal hosted the event to celebrate the Top 110 employers in four categories: small, medium, large, and extra-large businesses.  Finalists are selected from hundreds of nominees based upon confidential feedback from an employee engagement survey delivered by Quantum Workplace earlier in the year.

Donohoe was ranked the number 10 top extra-large employer during the event, a rating that points to the company’s overall vision and success and a strong sense of teamwork, loyalty, and enjoyment among employees.

“We value our employees. The annual ‘Best Places to Work’ employee survey’s positive results is a happy reminder that sentiment is mutual. We are honored that our employees feel supported and engaged and trust in Donohoe’s leadership to lead the company to future success,” said Deirdre Robinson, Vice President of Human Resources. “This confirms that we have the trust of our employees which inspires confidence as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Donohoe has participated and ranked in the annual Best Places to Work awards since 2014 when the company was ranked at number 19. This marks the second year in a row that Donohoe ranks among the top 10 extra-large employers.
