Georgetown Park

Located in the very heart of historic Georgetown, Georgetown Park includes restaurants, condominiums, garage parking and a retail shopping center. The development challenges for building high-end condominiums and retail in Washington’s oldest historic district were staggering: the plan included new build and restoration of historic structures, shoring beneath the oldest commercial structure in the city, and a site that actually straddled a National Park (the C&O Canal National Historical Park). Working with active citizen committees, historic preservation groups and a lengthy review process, Donohoe was able to develop and build a landmark structure that defines Georgetown’s renaissance.
